Quality Assurance
We appreciate that there are situations where communicating through face to face interpreting, telephone interpreting or written translation can be crucial to your business. Our Quality Assurance process starts with the recruitment of the best linguists and continues with systematic and ongoing monitoring of their performance. Delivering consistently high quality is our priority. All our service delivery processes are ISO certified with extensive quality control measures at every stage. Prospective interpreters must successfully undergo verbal assessments to ensure they have appropriate background, temperament and experience.

Prospective translators must provide samples of previous translation work and undergo translations test assignments. Translators are then graded according to specialisation, previous experience and level of technical expertise and must sign a 'Confidentiality Agreement' and a 'Quality Expectations' document.

Our ISO accredited quality control process ensures only native speakers who are highly qualified and experienced  carry out translations. It also ensures that highly qualified, independent translators with equivalent sector-specific experience check all translations.

Overall, our ongoing ISO-accreditation and our stringent recruitment standards show our clear commitment to Quality Assurance.

P A GREEN MESSAGE FROM BEACON

At Beacon we believe all businesses should strive to be environmentally friendly.  We do our bit by cutting down on paper use throughout our offices.  Not only does it help the environment but it also helps us to be more efficient.  We believe recycling is not the answer as it costs money to recycle and it's not exactly energy efficient.  Cutting down on paper use altogether is the answer.  We achieve this by using our state of the art database for all bookings and staff registration (instead of application forms), and sending 90% of our quotes and invoices electronically.  We recommend all businesses should move towards a paperless office.

Save Paper - Save Money.....Save the environment.
